The official website lists the acquisition of Electronic Data Technologies in 1984 as one of the company’s major decisions. As progress required more and more at the beginning of the new millennium, International Game Technology introduced its first multi-player table game platforms in 2006, focusing primarily on such content as baccarat and roulette. Four years later, the company celebrated production of the two millionth slot machine.
