This name is one of the newest and currently the most mysterious in the industry. Ever since its official announcement via Yggdrasil Gaming’s press-release, all eyes have been on 4ThePlayer, which is currently working on its first portfolio games.
What do we currently know about the brand?
This is an independent, mobile-first manufacturer. Its headquarters are in the United Kingdom, and the studio is interested in the regulated markets not only in Britain. Naturally, our curiosity was not satisfied by these small facts, so we contacted Andrew Porter, the CEO of the new brand and the former Casino Content Director at Playtech. We are glad to inform our readers that the first releases should be expected around September/October of 2019, and around that date we will also provide an exclusive interview with the team of 4ThePlayer.
What Does Yggdrasil Have to Do with 4ThePlayer?
According to the deal signed between the two companies, 4ThePlayer is to join the Yggdrasil Game Server Masters Program. This will lead to the latter expanding its initiative and becoming a global content publisher, while 4ThePlayer receives great exposure, starting with its very first releases.
“The industry experience that the 4ThePlayer management team has is invaluable and, with a focus on quality over quantity, we are confident the games they create will be highly appreciated by operators and players alike”, said Stuart McCarthy, Head of Studio Partnership at Yggdrasil, in his official statement regarding this win-win deal.
