Launched in 2015, the company known as the one managed by employees, won Pitch ICE as the best start-up that same year. This victory has increased the value of the studio by almost ten times over the following 12 months. The developers spent this time figuring out how to adjust their products to the demands of the industry by at the same time saving their unique and innovative ideas.
Thus, the manufacturer decided that the time has come to divorce the old-school casino legacy and to take digital gaming to the next level by improving games that were usually overlooked by majority of other developers. This is how G Games, in that time - Gamevy, ended up producing top-notch modern arcades and Bingo, although its portfolio does have a couple slots and a roulette game.
All the content is 3D-based and is compatible with both desktops and mobile phones. This is, though, not the breakthrough Gamevy is known for. Within just a year since it was launched, the studio came up with The Heist game, also known as the first game-show.
The developers simply figured that most clients enjoy simultaneously watching and playing, and yet, there were still no big wins offered for such leisure. So, Gamevy chose to ignore that small audience of slot fans, aimed at a broader geography, mixed luck and jackpots into the game-show format and delivered it to millions of clients.
In 2016 The Heist was acknowledged by the industry and won the trophy “The game to Watch” at ICE Totally Gaming.
