SOFTSWISS Donated Over €1,700,000 on Charity in 2022
SOFTSWISS has recently shared the report stating its annual donations to a charity aimed at helping those who suffer from devastating events. The figure in 2022 was impressive, as the company spent €1,700,000+ to give a helping hand to those in need.
Socially responsible gaming is shaping as a trend in recent years, so it is no surprise there are more and more companies willing to join charitable initiatives and make donations. SOFTSWISS is one of those software developers that see social responsibility as one of its core values. Thus, the company made a significant contribution to charitable organizations in 2022, a year that was filled with devastating events.
The biggest share of donated €1,700,000+ was directed to help Ukrainians who are suffering from the ongoing war. At the same time, the company joined the Truth Fund and made donations to several charities run by them. Those donations were made from the provider’s marketing budget.
“Through our various initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on society and continue to prioritize social responsibility as an integral part of our business practices,” concluded Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS.
The company continues its charity work in 2023, and one of the recent donations made by SOFTSWISS aimed to support Turkey which lost over 50,000 people to the earthquake that happened in March. Over a million people became homeless because of this natural disaster, and many of which could hardly provide themselves with essential supplies.
Thus, the company donated $25,000 to procure container houses to help those who lost their homes to overcome the consequences of the earthquake. Moreover, families who had children with disabilities and those who lost their relatives receive financial support for them to be able to secure food and drinking water.
“Here at SOFTSWISS, charity plays a substantial role. The company’s founders are not very keen to discuss it in public, as they believe that the desire to help others is something common to all people. However, when we learn about the assistance the company provides to those struggling through the most difficult times in their lives, we feel very proud and strongly connected with the company and its values,” said Yulia Oncheva, Chief HR Officer at SOFTSWISS.
Moreover, the company launched a fundraising initiative during ICE London and donated $5,150 to Unite24, the organization established by the Ukrainian government to provide humanitarian help to those who suffered from the war in Ukraine.
