Microgaming Renews Partnership with Square Enix and Develops New Lara Croft Branded Slot

Microgaming announces the development of a new slot machine in the Lara Croft series of games. This project celebrates the 15th anniversary of the partnership agreement with Square Enix company. The new release about the popular archaeologist and tomb raider is to be developed within 2019.

The partnership between Microgaming and Square Enix began in 2004 when the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider game was launched. This release is also the first branded video slot in the industry. Four years later, fans of the British adventurer had an opportunity to set off for a thrilling quest in search of fragments of the fabled sword in Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword slot.

This year, a new mission of the fearless Lara Croft is expected to unfold. The game is to be developed by Triple Edge Studio, an independent creator that delivers innovative content to the portfolio of Microgaming. The company has already produced such acclaimed titles as Playboy Gold, Wicked Tales: Dark Red, and Action Ops: Snow and Sable.
