Karjala Kasino First to Offer Karelian Dialect

Karjala Kasino, powered by iGamingCloud, has undergone a re-design to offer a more customized experience to visitors from Scandinavia. It has also integrated the Karelian dialect, and this addition makes the operator the first casino in the world to offer the language.

Karjala Kasino brand manager Henri Kukkonen comments:  “Karelian dialect is spoken in Eastern part of Finland, but every Finn is guaranteed to recognize it. We wanted to give our Finnish players something funny and unique without risking losing our identity as a truly Finnish and Karelian brand. The Karelian dialect works really well with the new look.

The casino was launched in 2017 in Finland to produce a purely Finish experience for players from this country. Nonetheless, the operator is licensed in Malta and the UK, which makes it open for markets outside Finland as well.

Karjala Kasino CEO Adnan Maslo adds:  “Karjala Kasino was rebranded and given a completely new look and content in the start of November. We have added local Karelian dialect and based on previous demand, we also opened the brand to international traffic by adding Swedish and Norwegian languages to the site and to the support team.”
