Curacao Gaming Control Board Announces Fee Structure
The Curacao Gaming Control Board (GCB) has released a detailed outline of the fees and collection terms associated with obtaining a gaming license under the NOOGH legislation. This document provides essential information for entities seeking to operate in the Curacao gaming market.
License Fees
Non-refundable Initial Fee: NAF 36,000 upon license grant and annually on each anniversary thereafter.
Monthly Fee: NAF 7,000 plus any applicable "per-domain" fee.
Certificate of Operations (Orange Digital Seal)
Non-refundable Fee: NAF 28,000 for sub-licensees authorized to display the temporary Orange Digital Seal.
General Information
Operators can choose to pay the full annual license fee in advance.
Fees are due regardless of any private commercial agreements with Master License holders.
Fees are invoiced in EUR, using the exchange rate published by the Curacao Central Bank on the invoice date.
Fees can be paid in EUR or USDT stablecoin.
License Issuance
Upon license approval, the local director of the applicant entity will receive a notification via email.
The notification will include an "Initial Invoice" of NAF 36,000, which must be paid in full before the license is formally granted.
The license will be added to the GCB license register once the Initial Invoice is paid.
Operators cannot use the Green Digital Seal on their domains before the formal license grant.
Stamp duty of NAF 60 is payable in local currency.
A hard copy license will be issued upon payment of stamp duty.
A soft copy license can be downloaded from the GCB portal.
Invoicing and Collection
Initial Invoice:
Payable in full within 5 calendar days.
Non-payment within 5 days may result in rejection of the application after a further 5-day grace period.
Rejection for non-payment will be processed on the GCB licensee portal and published on the GCB website.
