THE LEGENDARY STORY
This is not nearly the first studio to adapt the legendary Chinese novel written in the 16th century, to the reels. It is a historic and social satire, as well as a great fable, and it is hugely successful across Asia. The release stars all the main characters, including Sun Wukong also known as the Monkey King, the monk Tang Sanzang, Tang’s helper Zhu Baje, and Sha Wujing. There is also the White Dragon Horse, the Dragon King of the West Sea, lotus flowers, and card icons from Ace to ten.
PAYTABLE EXPLAINED
The grid consists of five reels, three rows, and fixed win lines. The spin costs from as little as 0.08 cents, which is a very affordable wager for the low rollers and reaches up to 80 credits for the high rollers.
Special Icons
- The Monkey King is the Wild card. It does not pay on its own, but it acts as a substitute, and then it doubles the wins.
Regular Icons
- Tang Sanzang is the most valuable regular pictogram of the paytable, and it is worth up to 1.50x the line stake for its five-of-a-kind combination (at the lowest stake).
- Collect up to 0.80x the line stake for either Zhu Baje or Sha Wujing.
- The White Dragon Horse pays up to 0.32x the line stake.
- The Dragon King of the West Sea reaches up to 0.24x the line stake for a five-of-a-kind combination.
- Collect up to 0.20x the line stake for the lotus flower.
- Card icons from Ace to ten pay between 0.12x to 0.08x the line stake.
BONUSES & ADDITIONAL WINNING POSSIBILITIES
Whenever the Monkey King lands in a three-of-a-kind combination, it activates the Monkey King Walking Wild bonus. The game goes into respins. With every respin, the King moves West one reel. Each step contributes one level to the Meter of Heavens. The respins stop as soon as the Wild (or Wilds) exit the reels completely.
As to the Meter of Heaven, once it is filled completely, it pays up to 1,000x the total stake. Then the meter is set to 0, and the whole process starts from the top.
